Lowrie's slam caps A's comeback vs. Tigers

Lowrie, who tied Jason Giambi's franchise record with his 47th double of the season earlier in the game, hit a drive to right for his 14th homer of the year and his third career grand slam. He finished with three hits, falling a triple shy of the cycle. Detroit's Alex Presley fell a triple shy of the cycle in his four-hit game.

James McCann led the Tigers with three RBIs, including a two-run triple. Nicholas Castellanos hit a two-run homer in the sixth inning.
