ANAHEIM - Oakland’s postseason schedule is set. Now all the A’s need to do is determine a starter, and all options remain under consideration.
The team will leave for New York after Sunday’s regular-season finale and will face the Yankees in Wednesday’s wild-card game, which will start at 5 p.m. Pacific. The pitching plans remain up in the air, though, and Friday’s 8-5 loss featured quite the rotation wrinkle: Rookie Lou Trivino, the A’s set-up man much of the year, started in order to get more warm-up time after dealing with neck discomfort earlier in the week.
