ANAHEIM - On a night the A’s moved up a game on the Astros and got two homers from Marcus Semien - his first in 44 games - and a gem of an outing from Edwin Jackson, the real wowza moment came from rookie Ramon Laureano, who showed off his rocket of an arm in Cespedesian style.
Laureano doubled Eric Young, Jr. off first base after racing to deep left center for a flyball by Justin Upton - and he did so on the fly, one of many ways Saturday night’s game went spectacularly well for Oakland.
