A year ago, Tyler Ladendorf was coming off something of a lost year.
The A’s infielder was slapped with a 50-game suspension mid-2014 for the use of a drug of abuse, slowing his path to the big leagues.
He made the A’s opening day roster in 2015, but shortly after being sent down to Triple-A Nashville suffered an ankle injury after just a handful of games with the Sounds and missed more than three months thanks to surgery.
So 2016 would be a good time for Ladendorf to make up for lost time. And he says he can best do that by looking forward.
