ANAHEIM -- A's slugger Khris Davis belted his Major League-leading 48th homer on Saturday at Angel Stadium, and Jed Lowrie also went deep, inching closer to joining Davis in triple-digit RBI territory.
The A's, who claimed a 5-2 win over the Angels, have already secured a playoff berth, allowing them to relish such moments without the pressure of playing for more.
Both Davis and Lowrie will look to further pad their career-best totals in Sunday's regular-season finale, before hunkering down and preparing for Wednesday's American League Wild Card Game against the Yankees in New York.
