NEW YORK - Kendall Graveman has been scratched from his scheduled Friday night start at Yankee Stadium because of shoulder soreness.
Sean Manaea is now listed as the team’s Friday night starter and Jharel Cotton is listed as the A’s starter for Saturday, although Oakland has not yet announced that Cotton has been called up from Triple-A Nashville. The team would not need to make the transaction until Saturday.
Manager Bob Melvin is expected to provide more details during his session with reporters before Friday night’s game.
Jesse Hahn had been the A’s starter expected to go on the DL after coming out of his most recent start with a triceps strain but he remains on the roster as of Friday afternoon.
