Jose Altuve likely got 'bad tattoo' during 2019 A's-Astros series

The tattoo at the center of the Astros' buzzer scandal may have been done during a series against the A's.

The Houston Chronicle's Chandler Rome reported the ink, that Astros' second baseman Jose Altuve stressed was the reason he didn't want his uniform ripped off during the 2019 ALCS, was done in San Francisco.

A source confirmed to NBC Sports California this tattoo would have been done while the A's were hosting Houston during the 2019 season.

These buzzers allegedly were used to transmit signals to Astros batters.
