Athletics starter Jesse Hahn will miss his next scheduled start Thursday to allow a blister on his middle finger to heal, tweets CSN California's Joe Stiglich. Jesse Chavez will start in his place. Hahn was removed from Saturday's contest against the Kansas City Royals after 65 pitches and completing 5u2153 innings of three-hit scoreless ball. Chavez completed the game with a a 3u2154-inning save of his own.
Hahn played catch earlier today and said blister is getting better, but Melvin says they wanna get past this so he only misses one start.
