ANAHEIM — You had to think Jed Lowrie’s bounce back was coming soon.
After quietly picking up a hit in each of hist previous three games, Lowrie was showing signs he was poised to break out of one of the worst stretches of his career. He broke out all the way in in Sunday’s 8-7 win over the Angels.
Lowrie began his day with a double off Taylor Cole in the first, but the true sign that he may have found his groove again came on his two-run bomb in the fourth when he crushed a 1-2 fastball from Jim Johnson into the right field bleachers.
