OAKLAND -– Home simply did not treat the A’s very kindly in 2015, and that played a major role in their struggles all season.
A 5-4 loss to the Giants on Sunday guaranteed the A’s will finish with the American League’s worst record, just the third time in Oakland history that will happen.
It also cemented a 34-47 record at the Coliseum, which goes down as the A’s second-worst home mark in their Oakland history.
The A’s scratched their way back from a 5-0 deficit and put a charge into the green-and-gold portion of the sellout crowd.
