SEATTLE — The A’s finally will add rather than subtract players in the next few days, which means some team members will head in the other direction, either demoted or designated for assignment.
Reliever Ryan Dull, who missed most of the spring with shoulder soreness, will come off the disabled list Saturday, which was going to give the A’s an interesting decision to make until the leading candidate to be designated for assignment, right-hander Liam Hendriks, left with an apparent leg or groin injury in the eighth inning Friday.
