As anticipated, the A’s called up Ramón Laureano from Triple-A Nashville on Friday, filling the vacancy left when Dustin Fowler was sent down Wednesday.
Laureano, 24, will be making his major-league debut whenever he gets into a game, and with the A’s facing left-handers Friday and Sunday at the Coliseum, there’a a good chance he’ll see some action.
