OAKLAND -- A's ace Sonny Gray, robbed of an Opening Day start because of what he thought to be food poisoning, believes he actually fell victim to a vicious flu bug that's making its way around a handful of clubhouses.
The A's have seemingly been hit the hardest, as right-hander Kendall Graveman is the latest to turn up ill.
"It was a 24-hour bug that a lot of guys have gotten," Gray said Tuesday before the A's faced the White Sox at the Coliseum, "and I just so happened to get it on the wrong day.
