Kendall Graveman was marvelous Saturday in Houston as he allowed two earned runs in eight-plus innings in a 3-2 A's win over the Astros.
Graveman was vying for his first career shutout and second career complete game, but back-to-back singles by Jake Marisnick and Marwin Gonzalez to lead off the ninth ended his outing.
Graveman allowed five hits, didn't walk any batters and struck out three.
Stephen Vogt led the offensive attack with three hits and two runs driven in. He finished a triple shy of the cycle.
