Happy Friday and welcome to the Friday night game thread! Although we are all die-hard A’s fans, I’m guessing (pretty accurately) that this isn’t the game we are all watching intently, for the other Oakland team (at least for this playoff run) just tipped off in Houston.
After an abysmal week last week, the A’s perked up in the Cincinnati series this week, taking two out of three, including one out-of-nowhere no-hitter and an extra-innings walk-off. They look to open the Indians series tonight with a win as Frankie Montas takes on Cody Anderson.
