The A’s dropped their fourth straight game on Tuesday at the Coliseum, getting shut down by Shohei Ohtani for six innings while the Los Angeles bullpen kept it up and had a near=perfect day. Oh, and Sho-Time added a home run on top of that.
Oakland starter James Kaprielian was not good tonight, allowing four runs in five innings, the most he’s allowed in his last eight starts. He did have one highlight from today, though:
Thankfully a ninth-inning blast from Chad Pinder broke up the shutout.
