Game #107: Chavez Rocked Again, A's Lose 9-2

In a decidedly un-fun game for us all, Jesse Chavez was hit hard and often, exiting in the fourth inning after spotting the Orioles a 6-0 lead. The A's scratched across just two runs on six hits in the game. Silver linings include Coco Crisp's return with two hits and the return of Stephen Vogt, who racked up two doubles to end a very long slump.

Ho hum. Another day, another lackluster performance by the A's stagnant offense and struggling starting pitcher, Jesse Chavez, who started the season strong, but has worn down in the dog days of summer.
