Proof positive that we all morph into our grandfathers sooner or later:
Hitting coach Chili Davis was let go by the Chicago Cubs after one season in which he struggled to connect with millennials on the team.
“I guess I need to make some adjustments in the way I deliver my message to the millennial players now,” Davis, 58, told the Chicago Sun-Times.
Maybe don’t yell at them when they run on the grass?
The irony here is that Chili Davis, had he been born 35 years earlier, would have been considered the millennial type.
