Happy Monday, Athletics Nation!
Just four teams remain in World Series contention as we venture further into October.
The Dodgers ravaged the Mets 9-0 yesterday, shutting out their opponent through a third straight game and postseason record-tying 33 consecutive innings. LA seems to be enjoying a strong tailwind, but the Mets have overcome greater predicaments than they are presently in so it would be foolish to count them out.
The NLCS continues with Game 2 at Dodger Stadium today, while the ALCS gets underway in The Bronx between the Yankees and Guardians. Do you believe in Stephen Vogt, or will the top-seeded Yankees’ big bats prevail to get them to the World Series for the first time since 2009?
