Good morning, Athletics Nation!
Major League Baseball is fully back in action once more. The New York Mets, who sat out four games from Thursday through Sunday after a player and coach tested positive for coronavirus, are set to resume play on Tuesday, per a league announcement.
The postponed games were supposed to include one against the Marlins, and three against the Yankees. Now the Mets will play a doubleheader against Miami on Tuesday, single games against them Wed and Thu, and then five games in three days against the Yankees (including doubleheaders Fri and Sun).
Fortunately, the club had no new positive tests come up since the original two last week, reports Joel Sherman of the New York Post.
