Happy Tuesday A’s fans.
We are three games into spring and it feels so good for things to be happening on a baseball field. The A’s are 1-1-1 so they’re quite the definition of average as of now, as far as the record goes. But we all know that’s not the point of spring training. There have been plenty of teams to have the best record during Spring Training only to lose 90+ games. Root for the wins, yes, but wins don’t count yet. Hopefully the Green & Gold save some for the regular season.
Our opponent today is the rival San Francisco Giants, but one has to wonder if there is still a rivalry there now that the team has left the Bay Area.
