Elephant Rumblings: A’s close out road trip with marathon comeback win

Happy Friday, Athletics Nation!

The A’s finished up a successful 4-2 road trip yesterday with their biggest comeback of the season. Down 5-0 after three innings, the A’s offense clawed back into it with seven runs through the following three innings while the bullpen continued to shine as Tyler Ferguson, Scott Alexander, and Mason Miller combined for five scoreless innings. Miller capped off the longest nine-inning game of the pitch clock era with an epic two-inning save. The Reaper’s ERA dropped back below 2.00 as a result.

Mason Miller's six-out save closes out the A's biggest comeback of the year and a 4-2 road trip pic.
