Driveline, the performance training system that has transformed more than its fair share of pitchers, has always intrigued me. Partly because it boasts some rather impressive success stories yet it isn’t really quite a household name in baseball circles.
Or at least not every pitcher avails himself of Driveline’s offerings, not even close, even though if you surveyed 100 pitchers and asked “Would you like to add a few MPH to your fastball?” you would get roughly 100 who would say “Yes.”
If there is a poster boy for Driveline it’s Jared Koenig, who left the A’s after 2022 when he threw 89.
