LOS ANGELES -- Khris Davis was a triple shy of hitting for the cycle and Marcus Semien and Jed Lowrie had four RBIs apiece as the A's racked up 21 hits and rolled over the Dodgers on Wednesday night, 16-6, to split their two-game Interleague series at Dodger Stadium.
It was the first time the A's recorded 20-plus hits since June 17, 2015, vs. the Padres. The Dodgers hadn't given up 20-plus hits since allowing 21 vs. the Mets on July 25, 2015.
After Davis' two-run homer in the first inning provided the A's with a lead they wouldn't relinquish, his leadoff double ignited a five-run fourth.
