OAKLAND -- Khris Davis hit his first home run at the Coliseum, a solo shot to left field off Matt Cain that highlighted the A's three-run third inning in a 4-1 exhibition victory over the Giants to close out the Bay Bridge Series on Saturday.
It was Davis' second spring homer, as Oakland's new left fielder finished his first spring in green and gold with a .314 average.
That was the only earned run allowed by Cain, who was solid in his final spring outing, holding the A's to two hits over five innings with one walk and two strikeouts.
