The coronavirus has struck the Oakland A’s family hard. Minor league manager Webster Garrison is battling for his life and has been on a ventilator in a Louisiana hospital. Prior to that news, A’s legend Dave Stewart had been tested for COVID-19 after his own health scare just about two weeks ago.
At the time, Stewart had been battling congestion and a cough. Given the ongoing epidemic, he was tested for the coronavirus as a precaution. Stewart made a point of stating that he did not have a fever, although he did have other symptoms of the virus.
