Cubs' Addison Russell could join Josh Donaldson, Yoenis Cespedes as A's who go away

Josh Donaldson and Yoenis Cespedes may soon be joined by Addison Russell for A's fans who spend time lamenting the ones that got away.

The Chicago Cubs shortstop is developing into a clutch hitter for a team expected to remain in the thick of the National League pennant race two years after being dealt by the A's in their ill-fated attempt to secure the American League crowd 2014.Although hitting a modest .265, Russell has driven in 27 runs from the No. 7 spot in the order, a pace that could put him over 100 at season's end. More importantly, Russell is hitting when it matters most.
