ARLINGTON -- A's speedster Billy Burns may miss the entirety of the Rangers series because of right hamstring tightness.
Burns, who was a late scratch from Friday's series-opening lineup, was held out again Saturday and is likely to be rested through Sunday's matinee finale ahead of a four-game road series against the White Sox.
"That's definitely a possibility," manager Bob Melvin said Saturday. "We'll see how he feels [Sunday]."
Sam Fuld got a start in center for a second straight day in place of the rookie Burns, who has been nursing the hamstring injury since Wednesday.
