MESA, Ariz. — While the professional sports world pondered the reality of empty arenas and ballparks as dictated by Coronavirus-related directives, the Oakland A’s were faced with an empty, rain-soaked Tempe Diablo stadium on Wednesday.
It poured all morning in Arizona, forcing the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim to cancel their game against the A’s.
