Hello A’s fans and happy Friday!
Fresh off taking two of three in Houston, the A’s nine-game road trip hits the south side of Chicago as they’ll face the 33-114 White Sox for a weekend three-game set. When both of these teams met in Oakland a little over a month ago, the White Sox snapped their infamous 21-game losing streak but the A’s still salvaged a series victory.
It’ll be a battle of the southpaws with Brady Basso set to make his second MLB start against Chicago’s lone all-star this season, Garrett Crochet. Bassos first big league start last Saturday against Detroit saw him yield just three hits and no runs over six scoreless in an A’s loss.
