The Oakland Athletics return home for the start of a three-game series against the AL Central rival Kansas City Royals at the Oakland Coliseum. The surprising Royals are five games out of first place, behind the Guardians in the Central with a 41-32 record, while the A’s have a solid hold on last place in the West with a 26-48 record.
