He entered int the sixth inning, the A’s ahead 5-2, and struck out two batters and gave up a home run to Martin Maldonado.
He also pitched a perfect 1-2-3 inning in the seventh. His fastball hit 98 mph. He threw a quick pitch and mixed in his slider and changeup.
