The A’s lost today in their Spring Training matchup against the Angels on Saturday afternoon, falling to their Los Angeles rivals 5-0 that brings their spring record to 5-2.
Righty Osvaldo Bido started the game for our A’s today as he continues to make a case for a starting spot in the Opening Day rotation. While his first two innings of work went smoothly he seemingly lost control in his third inning of work. A HBP followed by three walks and a sac fly gave Los Angeles a quick 3-0 lead that they wouldn’t relinquish. Not the best outing from our potential #5 starter but it’s spring.
