The Oakland Athletics will go for the sweep Wednesday afternoon when they wrap up a three-game series against the Houston Astros. The A’s won the opener Monday 4-0 and then bashed four homers in an 8-2 win Tuesday. JP Sears will get the start for Oakland in the finale while right-hander Hunter Brown will get the start for Houston.
For the A’s, Kyle McCann is behind the plate for the series finale. Max Schuemann gets another start at shortstop and is hitting ninth.
