The A’s won again on Tuesday afternoon, defeating the rival Texas Rangers 6-3 for their 7th win of spring.
Right-hander JT Ginn got the call today for his third appearance this spring. It wasn’t the smoothest outing for Ginn when Texas scored two runs in the bottom of the first inning, but he settled down and pitched into the third inning, ramping up to 49 pitches after a small buildup.
The A’s meanwhile jumped all over Texas’ pitching. The team scored runs in each of the first four innings, including a home run from infield prospect Max Muncy.
