Playing their first night game of the spring and after having an off day yesterday, the A’s got smacked in the mouth by the Brewers, losing to Milwaukee 10-0.
Taking the hill for the A’s today was offseason acquisition Jeffrey Springs, who was making his third start of ths spring. While his first two starts went mostly smoothly, tonight was a bit tougher for the lefty. Over 2 1⁄3 innings pitched tonight Springs allowed three runs, walking three while striking out just two. The goal entering tonight was to get past three full innings but he couldn’t quite get there.
