Last night was a well-rounded win. The pitching was there, the bats came through with timely hits, and the defense was mostly clean. We’ll be hoping for more of the same tonight here as the A’s take on the Astros in the second game of the series.
Oakland will send out right-hander Osvaldo Bido for just his second start of the season. Bido began the year in Triple-A and was the Aviators’ best pitcher for the first month-plus before getting a promotion to the Athletics for a spot start. It didn’t go great and he developed a blister that sent him to the IL.
