It’s deja vu all over again.
The Oakland A’s traded third baseman Matt Chapman to the Toronto Blue Jays on Wednesday, first reported by former MLB player Carlos Baerga and later MLB insider Jon Morosi. This is the A’s third major trade in the past five days, as they embark on a rebuilding process. It has not yet been officially announced by the team.
In return for Chapman, the A’s receive four prospects from the Jays, reports Shi Davidi of Sportsnet: RHP Gunnar Hoglund, SS Kevin Smith, LHP Zach Logue, and LHP Kirby Snead.
