The A’s will kick off their 50th anniversary season with a gala in Jack London Square on the eve of Opening Day.
The event will be held from 6:30-9 p.m. March 28 on the ground floor of the building at 55 Harrison Street that houses the A’s new offices. The team opens the season the following day against the Angels.
According to a press release, A’s alumni and legends will be on hand for a “baseball chic” function that includes baseball-inspired games, food and cocktails.
Tickets start at $500 and will benefit the A’s Community Fund.
