A particularly lively Bay Bridge Series concluded Sunday in Oakland with another big crowd and the A’s and Giants trading late runs and going into extra innings for the second game in a row.
After Andrew McCutchen gave the Giants the lead with a solo homer in the eighth, Khris Davis tied it up with an opposite-field shot, his second home run of the day after hitting just one homer in the previous 29 games. Then, after the big blasts, a slow chopper by Matt Chapman ended it in the 10th inning, sending Marcus Semien in to give Oakland a 6-5 victory.
