ARLINGTON, Texas - The 2018 A’s are undaunted by any deficit, it seems, as their increasingly interesting season produced its most dramatic outcome to date.
Oakland spotted the Rangers an eight-run lead Tuesday, then methodically began dismantling it in the seventh and eighth inning before Stephen Piscotty tied it up in the ninth by belting the first pitch of the inning from Keone Kela out to center, Piscotty’s seventh homer of the month.
In the 10th inning, Khris Davis hit his regularly scheduled homer at Texas, a three-run shot that gave the A’s a most improbable 13-10 win.
