Two weeks after impressing during a speed pitch challenge at Coors Field, 23-year-old Nathan Patterson now has a minor-league contract with the Oakland Athletics.

Patterson and his brother Christian were "just chillin" at a Colorado Rockies game on July 15, when they decided to enter a speed pitch challenge at the stadium.

Christian tweeted a video of Nathan hitting 96 mph on his fastball, and implored MLB teams to "get him signed!
