The Medina news is scary. Elbow problems often lead to extended absences, even if surgery isn’t required. It was only just a few days ago that Medina was on the bump but he’ll now head back to the IL for the second time this season. It’s another tough situation for the promising right-hander who only just recently returned from that first IL stint for the knee issue.
