A day after we said goodbye to Stephen Piscotty, the Oakland Athletics have made another big release from their roster.
The A's have recalled Sheldon Neuse from Las Vegas and released Elvis Andrus.

Near the end of his second year with the A’s, Elvis Andrus has been released from the roster. With Andrus approaching a vesting option that would have guaranteed a $15M paycheque from the A’s next year, there was a lot of expectation that a release or reduced playing time was coming for Andrus.
