NEW YORK -- As expected, A's right-hander Jesse Hahn went on the disabled list Saturday, clearing roster space for Jharel Cotton, who started the second of a three-game series in New York.
Hahn, nursing a right triceps strain, will likely soon be joined by right-hander Kendall Graveman, who has been bothered by shoulder soreness. The A's have yet to make a move involving Graveman but could do so as soon as Sunday.
A's manager Bob Melvin is hopeful to have Hahn back after the minimum 10-day period (June 3), but the team will be cautious with both pitchers, who have dealt with similar injuries in the past.
