TORONTO — With their bullpen overworked on the current road trip, the A’s dipped down to Triple-A Nashville to add right-handed relievers Emilio Pagán and Josh Lucas on Friday.
“In general, the entire trip, we’ve gone through a lot of guys in the bullpen,” manager Bob Melvin said. “Late nights, all sorts of stuff. Prudent that we have fresh arms, including guys who can give us multiple innings.
