OAKLAND -- The A's recalled right-handed pitchers Josh Lucas and Emilio Pagan from Triple-A Nashville, the club announced Friday. The A's also placed right-handed pitcher on the 10-day disabled list with right arm nerve irritation and optioned right-handed pitcher Ryan Dull to Nashville.
Lucas joins the A's for the second time this year but pitched just once during his first stint. He was recalled April 20, tossed three scoreless innings against Boston that day and was sent back to Nashville the next day. The 27-year-old right-hander pitched five times for the Sounds following his April 21 option and had a save and a 4.
