A’s-Rangers postponed due to rain, Marco Estrada pushed back

ARLINGTON, Texas — Rain may have been the only factor standing in the way of Khris Davis hitting another home run.

Thunderstorms in the Dallas area caused a postponement of the second game of a three-game series between the A’s and Texas Rangers Saturday night. The game will be made up June 8 as a traditional doubleheader with the A’s already scheduled to be in Texas that weekend for another three-game series.

Davis will have to wait until Sunday afternoon to continue his tear at Globe Life Park. The A’s slugger has now homered 16 times in 28 career games at the stadium after hitting a go-ahead solo home run in Friday night’s 8-6 win over Texas.
