ARLINGTON, Texas - The A’s come into Globe Life Park for four games right during a stretch of sizzling Texas heat.
The Rangers’ game against the Indians on Friday set the stadium’s all-time record for game-time temperature, with a mark of 107 degrees. The next night, there was a new record: 108.
The A’s are expecting three-digit temperatures throughout their stay, so manager Bob Melvin said Monday that his team will take batting practice just twice during the series.
