Zobrist will play nine innings at second base for Triple-A Nashville on Sunday, and then the discussions of whether he is ready to return will take place.
Before being placed on the 15-day disabled list with a left medial meniscus tear on April 25, Zobrist played in 14 games for Oakland -- five at second base, five in left field, two in right field and one as a DH -- batting .240 (12-for-50) with eight RBIs.
In other A's injury news, left-handed pitcher Eric O'Flaherty (strained left shoulder) and right-handed pitcher A.J. Griffin (right elbow) are scheduled to throw bullpen sessions on Monday.
